China’s Password Law? In what is dubbed “China’s bestowing of legitimacy on blockchain”, cryptography will now be governed under China’s Password Law. The law will apparently protect “cryptography practitioners in the country to keep their business secrets and privacy, “ while also having “the right to monitor, investigate and prosecute an individual or a business unit that is found to engage in illegal activities and against state policies.”
